An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Salute, the 1929 John Ford West Point Annapolis Army Navy military academy football sports romantic love triangle melodrama ("All talking Movietone feature"; about two brothers, one at West Point and the other at Annapolis, and the older one looks to help his younger brother win a girl by pretending to be interested in her, but his brother misunderstands, and they have a falling out, which they plan on settling at the Army-Navy football game) starring George O'Brien, Helen Chandler, Stepin Fetchit (as Smoke Screen), William Janney, Joyce Compton, Frank Albertson, David Butler, Lumsden Hare, Clifford Dempsey, Ward Bond, and John Wayne (in a bit part as "Midshipman Bill") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two other scene cards from this movie, but we have never before auctioned THIS scene card (which looks like a title card, but is not)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has slightly darkened around the edges. There is a long diagonal crease at top right with some separation on that tear, and someone put tape on the back of the separation.
