What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold and minor fold wear. There was a faint semi-circular water stain in the upper right blank border and some faint smudges and tiny stains in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
