the international theatrical release of The Hanged Man, the 1965 Don Siegel made-for-television (TV) Mardi Gras crime thriller ("Intrigue! Love! Passion! Lust!"; "From the novel by Dorothy B. Hughes") starring Robert Culp, Edmond O'Brien, Vera Miles, Norman Fell, and Gene Raymond. Note that this was Don Siegel's second made-for-TV movie, although it was the first to be aired on TV. This is because his first TV movie, "The Killers", was deemed too violent for TV, and never played on TV at that time, only in theaters.
