Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this half-sheet, and it sold for $3,100. That example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Note that because this poster is nearly 100 years old and is valuable, we don't want to roll the poster in a tube, because we believe that rolling it could lessen its condition, so we will send it in a large flat package that measures approximately 24" x 30". If the winning bidder specifically requests it, we will roll this poster, but the new buyer will have to accept responsibility if there is any damage caused by rolling it. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has darkened slightly and there are some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image, with two areas of darkening in the top left above the "R" and "O" of "GARBO", but solely in the blank area. This incredibly rare poster has had no restoration, and is not nearly as fragile as many half-sheets of the same age, and it certainly could be displayed and enjoyed exactly as it is, or one could choose to have it restored. Either way, the new owner will have a remarkable poster to display on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
