An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Double Danger, the 1938 Lew Landers romantic jewel thief blackmail crime mystery comedy (a silly story of a famous jewel thief much like "Raffles", except he writes books about each of his successful crimes, and he is invited to the police commissioner's house, because the commissioner is trying to trap him by showing him expensive jewels, but there is a woman jewel thief there who is after the same thing, and after the jewels are stolen and re-stolen many times, the two thieves fall in love, and he agrees to write one final book about his last adventure) starring Preston Foster, Whitney Bourne, Donald Meek, Samuel S. Hinds, Arthur Lake, and June Johnson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds, with some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered on parts of the vertical foldline. There was an extra horizontal fold just below the regular bottom foldline and some pinholes, smudges, and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
