An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Stage Show Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Babes on Broadway, the circa 1960s New York Broadway burlesque stripper stage show poster ("Live!"; "A burlesque show") advertising burlesque performances of Dimples Darling (billed as "Star of Stage and Screen Dimples Darling"), Chris Scarlett (billed as "Chris Scarlett Half-man half-woman"), Miss Joanne (billed as "Miss Joanne The Tossle Queen"), Darnell (billed as "Darnell Ebony Delight Exotic"), John Maine (billed as "John Maine Comedy Routines"), Tangarra (billed as "Special added attraction The Legendary Tangarra") and Hollywood Jones (billed as "Buffalo's Fabulous M.C. Hollywood Jones") as well as showings of Lady of Burlesque held on June 19 & 20 at the Rivoli Theatre in New York City. These were all acts that performed all over the country in burlesque theaters in the 1950s and 1960s, and this was when they hit the big time in New York City.
