An Original Vintage Radio Script (measures 8 3/4" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 21 pages) (Learn More) Swing Your Lady, the 1938 Ray Enright Ozarks hillbilly wrestling sports romantic musical screwball comedy ("Adapted from the play by Kenyon Nicholson & Charles Robinson"; a strong contender for Humphrey Bogart's very worst movie; somehow he got cast as a wrestling promoter who takes his wrestler to the Ozarks to fight a female hillbilly blacksmith, and of course, the two fall in love and refuse to fight each other!) starring Humphrey Bogart, Frank McHugh, Louise Fazenda, Nat Pendleton, Penny Singleton, Allen Jenkins, The Weaver Brothers & Elviry (Leon Weaver, Frank Weaver, and June "Elviry" Weaver) and a 10th billed Ronald Reagan, who is not credited or pictured on the posters! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare script from a radio show that aired on radio stations on February 18, 1938, which consisted of a "preview" of the Humphrey Bogart movie, where Louella Parsons introduces Humphrey Bogart and then Bogart and the actors from the movie perform a scene from the movie over the radio. This original radio script has been heavily annotated in pencil with many changes to the dialog. Apparently, it was Nat Pendleton's personal copy, because his name is written in the top right corner of the cover. Condition: good to very good. There are stains on the cover page and some on the next interior page, and very few on the rest of the pages. The script was once held together with a paper clip, which is no longer present.
