The scream of a woman... The meeting of 'The Moonlighter' and his Midnight Lady!"; "The most man-woman excitement to explode off the screen!") starring Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, Ward Bond, William Ching, and John Dierkes

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D posters and 2D posters (the 2-D posters were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release.

Condition: good. This poster was linenbacked, but it was either NOT linenbacked by a very talented restorer, OR it was linenbacked many years ago, and has received rough handling over the years, OR it had fairly significant defects that were not restorated at all. If it was restored, you can clearly see signs of the restoration even from a distance. This is a poster that would greatly benefit from additional professional restoration. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

There were many extra creases along most foldlines. There were stains in the right of the middle and bottom foldlines and a dime-sized area of paper loss in the arm of the man at right. There were three areas of paper loss in the blank right border and many creases and smudge around the edges of the poster. The poster was mounted on a very thin linen, with no excess linen around the edges, and only minimal attempts were made to restore the defects. If I owned this poster, I would have it re-mounted. Once the defects were properly corrected, this poster would look quite nice, and while there would be some paint restoration on the poster, there would not be a lot of it.
