Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. the poster was folded down the center and there are lots of rough creases throughout the center of the image area, and a lesser number throughout the rest of the poster; the left and right borders have many small tears extending into the edges of the image, and there is brown tape on the back to mend these; there is a long piece of white tape covering the entire right blank border; Surely this poster is a candidate for expert restoration. I doubt a restorer could eliminate the creases, but I would think they could be greatly minimized, to where the poster would look quite nice from any distance away. But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept it as it is or are willing to have it restored! Learn More about condition grades
