Important Added Info: Note that first release 1921 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single one-sheet from this movie (no other posters or lobby cards) until we received this lobby card! Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a heavy paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original lobby card (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had paper loss in part of the top half of the left blank border and in the right half of the top blank border, with some tiny bits of paper loss in the rest of the blank borders, but only blank white paper was affected. There was also a 2 1/2" tear in the center of the top border that extended down into the background. Overall, the lobby card was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking.
