All of the band members (Johnny, Joey, and Tommy) adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", although none of them were related. They are often cited as the first punk rock group and despite achieving only limited commercial success, the band was a major influence on the punk rock movement in both the United States and the United Kingdom. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Note that The Ramones were HUGE fans of E.C. horror comics of the 1950s! Important Added Info: As noted above, the Ramones were massive E.C. fans, and they created this wonderful box set, which included a full-color "comic" (which is actually more than one comic bound upside-down from each other, including a 3-D section and glasses!) inside this CD set!
