An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Sam's Song (re-cut and released in 1979 as "The Swap"), the 1969 John C. Broderick & John Shade slice-of-life melodrama ("He's Tough. He's Cool. He's murder on Women... And They're Death on Him") starring Robert De Niro (in the title role as Sam Nicoletti), Jarred Mickey (billed as "Jerry Mickey"), Jennifer Warren, Terrayne Crawford, and Martin J. Kelly. Note that this movie was never completed in 1969. After De Niro achieved fame in the "Godfather" movies and others, Cannon Films took the unused footage from this incomplete film, and shot new footage to created a new movie which they called "The Swap", and released it in the U.S. in 1979. Apparently, De Niro threatened them with legal action, but was unable to stop the release of the movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
