He was best known for his brilliantly colored, expressionist paintings and screen prints of athletes, musicians, and sporting events. His works often appeared in Playboy magazine. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 91. Important Added Info: Note that this print (which is a small 3 1/2" x 5" print that has been nicely inserted into a 5" x 7" mat) has been personally autographed (signed) by LeRoy Neiman on the bottom border of the mat (see our image)! Note that this item comes from the collection of Marvin Mayo. He was a major Los Angeles-based horror/sci-fi collector who passed away around 8 years ago. He was an extremely dedicated collector and he attended sci-fi conventions, obtaining autographs there and at signings (and since he lived in Los Angeles, he was able to go to many of them), and he also wrote actors and writers for autographs, and visited some who allowed it.
