Harold Bell Wright's The Shepherd of the Hills, the 1941 Henry Hathaway Ozarks cowboy western ("Based on the Novel by Harold Bell Wright"; "America's most beloved drama of the human heart! In glorious Technicolor"; about a mysterious stranger who arrives in the Ozarks and gets involved with a beautiful young mountain girl who has a moonshiner fiance, who has vowed to kill his own father) starring John Wayne, Betty Field, Harry Carey Sr., Beulah Bondi, James Barton, Samuel S. Hinds, Marjorie Main, and Marc Lawrence. Note that this movie had been made in 1919 and again in 1928, but this John Wayne version is the best remembered one!

Condition: good to very good. dime-sized paper loss at the bottom crossfold; separation and tiny paper loss at the other crossfolds; a piece of conservation tape on the left and right ends of the top foldline in the blank borders only; creases, pinholes, some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster; 2" to 3" tears at the ends of some foldlines; small tears, creases, and tiny dots of paper loss in the vertical foldline; a handful of tears around the edges of the poster, some of which extend into the edge of the image
