An Original 1952 (from the first release of this movie in France) Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47 1/4" x 63" [120 x 160 cm]) (Learn More) Anna Lans (released in the U.S. as "The Sin of Anna Lans"), the 1943 Rune Carlsten Swedish romantic melodrama (apparently the movie is told in flashback, with the lead character appearing at a Salvation Army meeting, and talking about her sinful past, but we can find no more about the movie, which seems a shame, because the only poster we have seen from it, a French poster, makes it look very interesting) starring Viveca Lindfors (in the title role as Anna Lans), Arnold Sjostrand, Rune Carlsten, Emmy Albiin, and Helge Karlsson. Artist: Jean Fourastie Important Added Info: Note that the IMDb says this movie first played in France in 1952, so we are dating this poster to then. But we have seen them wrong before, and it seems quite possible that this movie might have played in France anywhere between 1945 and 1952. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. Note that the poster was originally printed with one title, and then the distributor must have changed the French title, because it was overprinted first with black, and then with a different title. This was done when the movie was released, and was done quite well (see our image). The poster has darkening on most of the foldlines, and separation on some parts. Someone put conservation tape on the back of small parts of many foldlines. The poster is somewhat fragile, but certainly, after a simple linenbacking, it will look fantastic, but bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
