Artist: Jean-Adrien Mercier Important Added Info: Note that famed artist Jean-Adrien Mercier created this poster is 1933. In the late 1980s, he was still alive, and an exhibition of his work was held in a Paris museum, and on that occasion, 500 prints of this poster were created, and each was hand signed and numbered by Mercier, and they were sold at that exhibition. The print offered here is #69/500. Mercier passed away in 1995 at the age of 95, and it is wonderful that he lived to see his work acclaimed and exhibited in a museum! What IS linenbacking?
