An Unfolded Advertising Poster (measures 23" x 35" [58 x 89 cm]) (Learn More) VCX, the early 1980s advertising poster ("Sony Panasonic RCA Magnavox Zenith Toshiba JVC Sanyo"; "VCX the finest in XXX adult home entertainment"; "On Sale Here") promoting the purchase of VCX (Video Cassette X-Rated) sexploitation films. Note that this poster features black-and-white images of videos and a Sony Beta player. VCX was a pioneering adult video distributor formed in the late 1970s by Norman Arno, who had known connections to the Peraino crime family responsible for funding the production of the infamous 1972 porn chic hit Deep Throat. VCX transferred many adult films, such as Debbie Does Dallas, to VHS and Betamax in the early days of video. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before! Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a tear at top with some tape staining on back of that area. There are some creases scattered in various areas.
