An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #1 (Return of the Copperhead) Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Mysterious Doctor Satan, the 1940 John English & William Witney masked super hero mad scientist science fiction (sci-fi) horror serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters") starring Eduardo Ciannelli (billed as "Edward Ciannelli"; in the title role as Doctor Satan), Robert Wilcox (as Bob Wayne, and also as "Copperhead", the mysterious masked super hero), William Newell, C. Montague Shaw, Ella Neal, Dorothy Herbert, William Whitney, John English, and Jack Mulhall. Note that posters and lobby cards from this serial have always been popular, both because it is a science fiction serial with a masked super hero (he has a secret identity of "Bob Wayne", and it is not hard to guess where they got that name from!), and because it has a great funky robot that appears prominently on all of the posters! Important Added Info: Note that this movie featured a robot in a major role, and the robot is prominently featured in the border art of this lobby card. Condition: good to very good. There was a piece of tape on the front of each blank corner and someone removed them, causing surface paper loss. There was also a piece of tape in the center of the top blank border, which left a stain. Someone put tape on the front of each of the bottom corners and also tape on the back of a 1" tear near the center of the bottom border and clear tape on the back of tiny tears in the left of the top blank border.
