An Autographed REPRODUCTION 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Photo (Learn More) The Bowery Boys Meet the Monsters, the 1954 Edward Bernds teen juvenile delinquent horror science fiction (sci-fi) comedy ("It's Monsterriffic!"; "The scariest, screwiest laugh riot since Frankenstein gave up the ghost!") starring The Bowery Boys (including Leo Gorcey and Huntz Hall), Laura Mason, Ellen Corby, Lloyd Corrigan, John Dehner, Bernard Gorcey (as Louie Dambrowski), Steve Calvert (uncredited as Cosmos the Gorilla), and Norman Bishop (uncredited as Gorog the Robot). Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
