An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Redskin, the 1929 Victor Schertzinger silent Navajo Native American Indian romantic cowboy western anti-racist melodrama ("The struggle between racial tradition and civilization"; "Color sequences photographed by Technicolor Process"; "Story and screen play by Elizabeth Pickett"; a follow-up to 'The Vanishing American', with Dix as an Indian who was taken off of a reservation and becomes the first Indian at a certain college, and then becomes a doctor, and returns to his people, but is rejected for being "too white", but he ends up helping settle a major dispute between the Native Americans and the white man) starring Richard Dix ("as Wing Foot"), Julie Carter (billed as "Gladys Belmont"; "as Corn Blossom"; 16 years old in her first movie role!), Jane Novak, Larry Steers, and Tully Marshall NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. nail hole in the center of the image and two nail holes in the "X" of "DIX"; a 2" tear in the middle of the right border and a 2" tear with small paper loss in the top of the left border; light smudges around the edges of the card with some stains in the top play date area This window card is in "lesser" condition (it is clearly in less than "very good" condition, and may be all the way down to "fair" condition, as we are selling a collection of early window cards that were found inside of a wall, and those all have water stains and other defects, which should be easily seen on our large images)! This window card has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images. We know that some collectors could accept this window card's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this window card if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this window card because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this window card offered again!
