An Original Vintage Movie Souvenir Program Book (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 20 pages) (Learn More) The Flaming Frontier, the 1926 Edward Sedgwick silent Native American Indian cowboy western epic ("The spectacular thrilling epic of the American West"; "A stupendous and thrilling drama of the glorious west"; covering several major events of the West, including the massacre at the Little Big Horn) starring Hoot Gibson, Dustin Farnum (as General George Armstrong Custer), Anne Cornwall, Noble Johnson (as Sitting Bull), Walter Rodgers (as President Grant), and Harold Goodwin. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that this movie is sadly forgotten today by everyone except for major film buffs, but it was a major Universal production, and it was a true epic, covering many years, and including many famous historical figures. We have only previously auctioned two one-sheets (30 years ago and 24 years ago), five lobby cards, and a pressbook from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this souvenir program book!
