No Condom - No Way!, the 1980s Australian poster ("Hey which way? What you doing?"; "We go party on the beach"; "You and who?"; "Me and my friends"; "Which way - you and me?"; "Yeh, ok. But you got condom?"; "No!... big shame job!"; "No more shame-job. You been listening to talk on AIDS?"; "No condom - no way!") created by Redback Graphix in Sydney to educate people about the consequences of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) which causes AIDS (Acquired ImmunoDeficiency Syndrome) and how to protect themselves from the disease. Note that when AIDS gripped the world in 1981, local authorities, healthcare providers and governments quickly created health posters as a way to inform people about the new disease. These public health campaigns continue to this day, and the posters show the different tactics, images (some quite provocative) and messages used by various countries and health agencies in their attempts to educate people about the AIDS/HIV threat.
