Guarded by witches. Discovered by a boy. Stolen by a King. Whoever owns it will rule the world. Or destroy it."; "Seven years in the making - In the celebrated Disney tradition comes our 25th animated motion picture."; "Based on 'The Chronicles of Prydain Series' by Lloyd Alexander") featuring the voices of Grant Bardsley, Susan Sheridan, Freddie Jones, Nigel Hawthorne, and Arthur Malet. Note that this was the first Disney cartoon with a 'PG' rating and was the first Disney cartoon to have computer animated sequences. The movie was considered by many to be too frightening and upsetting to children, even after undead and violent scenes were removed after kids cried during a pre-screening. Artist: Paul Wenzel Important Added Info: Note that Disney realized that this film was a potential box-office bomb, and likely to save money, they created a single U.S. one-sheet which lacked a rating and featured the advance tagline of "Coming This Summer". To create "domestic" and non-advance posters, they supplied theaters with a PG rating snipe and another snipe to cover the tagline! Because of this, we don't consider the English-language U.S. one-sheet to be "international", because it was the only one created!
