What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears, smudges, and a few stains around the edges, with paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. It had a few stains and smudges scattered in the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the poster is very slightly "lifting" from the linen, between the right of the top word of the title and the man's shoulder, in the white background.
