An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Bette Davis was a legendary actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. She was Warner Bros. leading female star throughout the late 1930s, and she continued as a major star throughout the 1940s, and she had one of her greatest triumphs, All About Eve, in 1950. She refused to retire, and took out a famous ad in Variety seeking work (citing her two Oscars!), and she starred in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte in the 1960s. Some of her other movies include: Jezebel, Now Voyager, Of Human Bondage, and too many others to list! AND Rudy Vallee who was a famous band leader and actor from the 1930s through the 1950s and then took a few roles in the 1960s and 1970s. Among his best remembered movies are The Palm Beach Story, Unfaithfully Yours, I Remember Mama, The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying Important Added Info: Note that we don't know what this still is for. It might have been around the time of Stage Door Canteen, because there is a rope sign on the back, and all we can read is "SERVICE MEN", so it would seem to surely be from during World War II.
