An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Police Car 17, the 1933 Lambert Hillyer romantic love triangle police crime melodrama ("He never knew when the voice from headquarters would send him to fame and glory.... or to his DOOM!"; "His life was ever at the command of a voice... the voice of the Radio Patrol!"; this movie revolves around what was then a new development in police technology, which was that police cars now had radios in them and they could be sent information about crimes!; Tim uses this technology to catch a gang of thieves and win his girl's love) starring Tim McCoy, Evalyn Knapp, Edwin Maxwell, Ward Bond, and DeWitt Jennings. Note that Tim McCoy apparently was growing weary of his western roles, and took some starring roles in other kinds of action movies such as this one!

Condition: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and tears on parts of some foldlines, and pinholes, creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was not mounted well because it is somewhat "lifting" from the linen in the center and there is now an extra vertical crease in the center of the vertical foldline that was caused by the poster lifting from the linen. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking, but the poor linenbacking has lowered the condition to "good". The poster displays pretty well as it is, but it would obviously be preferable to have the poster removed from the linen and properly re-backed.
