An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that this still was consigned to us from an unusual collection. The owner had the names of the movies (sometimes the stars) and sometimes the date stenciled in the bottom border of many of his stills. We don't know why this was done, but the stencils are not much of a defect at all, because they are in the blank border, and they of course help identify the stills (which may have been why it was done in the first place!). Condition: very good. The still has text stenciled in the bottom blank border . Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
