An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Leslie Howard was a top English star from the 1910s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: Gone With the Wind, Pygmalion (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), In Which We Serve, Forty-Ninth Parallel, Berkeley Square (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Petrified Forest. Howard was at the height of his popularity when he passed away in 1943 at the age of 50, when the plane he was in was shot down by Germans. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by the photographer, John De Mirjian! Note that this wonderful portrait deluxe still is not dated, but we feel it is surely from the extremely early 1930s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this still measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good. The still was glued to a backing board and later removed, but there is much cardboard residue over the back of the still.
