An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian Movie Poster (measures 19 1/4" x 28" [49 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney, the circa 1940s Italian cartoon animation poster promoting Walt Disney theatrical cartoon movie shorts and featuring art of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto. Note that we don't know much of anything about this really cool poster, except that it is from RKO, and the characters have pie-cut eyes, so it would seem to surely date from directly after World War II (likely in 1946 to 1948). It is an odd size and has printer information similar to other Italian posters we have seen from those years, which makes us more sure. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. It had some tears and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
