Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned a lobby card from this Columbia serial until we were consigned this cool title card! Not only that, but movie paper of ANY kind is beyond rare! We auctioned a one-sheet from this title 31 years ago, and we re-auctioned that same poster since then, and we have seen it appear in other auctions, but other than that single poster, we have never seen ANYTHING else as far as lobby cards or posters go. THIS lobby card may or may not be a title card, because we have no other cards to compare it to! It certainly is beyond rare, and is the "holy grail" for collectors of lobby cards from serials based on comic book or comic strip characters! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Note that this is from an amazing collection of serial title cards we were consigned from a man who started collecting them in the 1960s! There are 47 in all, in 47 separate auctions, and a number of them are extremely rare, and some are ones we have never auctioned before. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase one or many title cards from serial movies, and there likely won't be such an opportunity again for many years! Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened and it has some light staining scattered around the edges, with tack holes in the corners. It has a small piece of tape on the back of each corner. Obviously, this incredibly rare lobby card can be restored, and either way, the new owner will have one of the greatest movie paper rarities there is in their collection!
