An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

L'Avventura (released in English-speaking countries either under the original title and as "Michelangelo Antonioni's L'Avventura [The Adventure]", and "The Fling"), the classic 1960 Michelangelo Antonioni French/Italian romantic love triangle mystery crime thriller starring Monica Vitti, Gabriele Ferzetti, Lea Massari, Renzo Ricci, Dominique Blanchar, and James Addams. Note that director Antonioni had been making movies for over ten years before this one (mostly shorts and documentaries), but he completely surprised the world with this groundbreaking movie, which moved at an exceptionally slow pace, with little worry about advancing the plot. It had a major influence on movies all over the world during the 1960s.

Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a 1960s "Janus Repertory Presentation" where they showed great foreign films under the umbrella title of "Directors' Festival". Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: very good to fine.
