Posters from the 1960 re-release are far more rare than those from the 1954 first release or the 1962 re-release, and there were different domestic and international posters created for the 1960 re-release. This one-sheet offered here is the international style one-sheet from the 1960 re-release, and it has a completely different image from the domestic 1960 re-release one-sheet, and we have only auctioned it twice before, and they auctioned for $1,052 and $774! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss scattered between the middle crossfold and bottom crossfold, with some paper loss in the bottom horizontal fold and in the left half of the middle horizontal fold. It had many pinholes, smudges, and stains around the edges, and in the white background areas, with some pinholes scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Considering the poster's significant defects, the restorer did a good job. The poster displays pretty well, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
