An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Advance One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) Mars Attacks!, the classic 1996 Tim Burton science fiction (sci-fi) alien spoof screwball comedy ("Nice planet. We'll take it!"; "Screen Story and Screenplay By Jonathan Gems"; "Based Upon 'Mars Attacks!' by Topps", which was a popular series of wacky trading cards put out in the 1950s!) starring Jack Nicholson (as the President of the United States of America), Glenn Close, Annette Benning, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Martin Short, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael J. Fox, Rod Steiger, Tom Jones, Lukas Haas, Natalie Portman (in her fifth movie role!), Jim Brown, Lisa Marie, and Sylvia Sidney. Note that this is not an animated movie, but all of the wonderful scenes with the wacky aliens were created using CGI! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult! Note that this is a rare advance one-sheet (note the "Friday December 13" at the bottom of the poster). Also note that this is a double-sided one-sheet. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good. 1" tear and some tattering in the upper left edge as well as minor creases and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges from being stored on end while rolled) Learn More about condition grades
