The Crystal Ball, the 1943 Elliott Nugent spiritualist clairvoyant fantasy romantic crime comedy ("She's s gal with a past who knows your future!"; about a girl who loses a beauty contest and becomes a fortune teller) starring Ray Milland, Paulette Goddard, Gladys George, Virginia Field, Cecil Kellaway, and William Bendix. Note that this is one of several Paramount productions which were purchased by United Artists for theatrical release.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, tears, and paper loss along all the folds and some pinholes, stains, and paper loss around the edges. It was displayed, and the reds in the poster faded considerably. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
