Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 26 3/4" x 40 1/2" [68 x 103 cm]. Condition: poor to fair. The poster is in much lesser condition. It is heavily rippled and there is discoloration scattered throughout due to exposure to moisture. It is bordered on three sides with masking tape that has caused the paper underneath to deteriorate and some of the tape was removed at one time along the right side of the poster, causing paper loss. There is a large tear at lower right in Hedren's image. The poster is in urgent need of restoration, and certainly a competent restorer minimize some of the defects above, but please bear in mind the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
