Terror seizes city!"; "All New Thrills! Shock! Suspense!"; "Monster Escapes!"; "City flees in Terror!"; "Here at last! New thrill wonder 3-D Horrorscope!") starring John Agar, Lori Nelson, John Bromfield, Nester Paiva, Ricou Browning (who played the Gill Man underwater), Tom Hennesy (who played the Gill Man on land), Clint Eastwood (in his big screen [speaking] debut in a bit part as a lab assistant), Brett Halsey, and Flippy the Porpoise. Note that this movie was released in 3-D, but most first release U.S. posters don't bother to mention that (perhaps because the 3-D craze was dying down). Artist: Reynold Brown Important Added Info: Note that this movie was intended to be released in 3-D, and this pressbook has tons of information about both releases, and ads for both 3-D and 2-D releases (also shown are some great 3-D items that may or may not have ever been created, including really cool "composite 3-D effect stills"! Also note that the supplement included is for the double-bill release of this movie and "Cult of the Cobra", which shows 3-D ads for "Revenge of the Creature", showing that the double-bill release was planned even before this movie was released. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Finally, note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. There is some separation at the spine and there is a clear tape repair at the top and bottom of the spine.
