An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French Movie Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 31 1/4") (Learn More) Journal d'un Cure de Campagne (released in 1954 in the U.S. as "The Diary of a Country Priest"), the 1951 Robert Bresson French religious mystery melodrama (about a young priest who is assigned to a rural parish, and the difficulties he encounters in being accepted by the local people) starring Claude Laydu, Jean Riveyre, Nicole Maurev, Andre Guibert, Martine Lemaire, and Rachel Berendt Artist: Delfo Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Also note that this French poster measures 23 1/4" x 31 1/4" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. The poster had a piece of tape on the back of the top 2" of the vertical fold (in the blank white area only), and there were small tears and small paper loss in that area. There was separation and minute paper loss on the foldlines and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
