A 1935 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Henry King's Hell Harbor, the 1930 Henry King Havana Cuba Caribbean tropical island romantic love triangle adventure thriller ("All Talking"; a wild pre-Code story of traders in the Caribbean, and one who forces his daughter to marry a Jewish moneylender to help him make money, and she wants to run off with a visiting American and live in Cuba!) starring Lupe Velez, Jean Hersholt, John Holland, Gibson Gowland, Harry Allen, and Rondo Hatton (17th billed, as "the bartender"). Note that this movie is memorable for reuniting Jean Hersholt and Gibson Gowland, who had been so memorable as adversaries in "Greed", and it also marks the movie debut of Rondo Hatton (he was a newspaper reporter in Florida, where the movie was filmed, and he was hired for his distinctive looks, and years later, he went to Hollywood and started his memorable career, which was cut short by his death from acromegaly).

Important Added Info: Note that most United Artists releases of the 1920s and 1930s were released once by United Artists and then sold to re-release companies, which would often use the same advertising material, but without the United Artists logo. In the case of this movie however, it received a rare United Artists re-release in 1935, and only then was it sold to Inspirational Pictures, which re-released it in 1937.

Condition: very good to fine. There is a 1/2" tear in the middle of the top edge and there are a few minor creases and tiny tears around the edges of the card. The card is otherwise in nice condition, especially considering its age. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
