Note that John Kitzmiller was a black African American who served in Italy in World War II, and he decided to stay there after the war, and he appeared in around 50 Italian movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the poster has a very minor printing defect, which is a series of faint light green and pink lines down the left edge of the left blank border. This was a very minor printing defect that occurred during the printing of this poster, and it is found on many 1950s and early 1960s lobby cards and half-sheets (it was caused by the machine that gripped the posters and lobby cards as they passed through the press), and few collectors consider it much of a defect at all, because it is in the left edge of the blank border, has no effect on the image, and would likely be on all examples of this poster. Also note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has many creases, smudges, and light stains around the edges, and a much lesser number of creases and smudges within the image. There are some faint creases throughout the poster, likely caused by being rolled and unrolled. Someone put a piece of tape on the back of the lower right border, mending a tiny tear, and also a tiny piece of tape on the back of the crossfold (likely for reinforcement), but otherwise, the poster has never had any restoration of any kind. I would think any talented restorer could surely remove a great deal of the smudges through chemical means, and that the creases would largely disappear during the paperbacking process, and I would think that after proper restoration, this poster would look great, and there would be little paint restoration on the poster!
