An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Helen Kane was a singer and actress from the 1920s to the 1950s. Her signature song was "I Wanna Be Loved By You", which included the words "Boop Boop a Doop". Many believe the famous cartoon character Betty Boop was modeled after her. She sued Paramount and Fleischer over it, but she lost. Some of her movies include: A Lesson in Love, Pointed Heels, and Nothing But The Truth. She passed away in 1966 at the age of 62. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm]. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in the bottom right. Condition: good. Someone unevenly trimmed the still around the edges, but only affecting background areas and affecting the embossed photographer stamp at bottom right. If it were my still, I would likely "straighten out" the borders by trimming it slightly more, but obviously, that is the choice of the new owner. There is glue and surface paper on the back of the borders, where the still was attached to a mat. Learn More about condition grades
