An Original 1968 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm]) (Learn More) Ogon Batto (released in the U.S. as "The Golden Bat"), the 1966 Hajime Sato (billed as "Terence Marvin Jr.") Japanese juvenile super hero fantasy science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure crime thriller (a wacky Japanese movie with a teenage hero who is brought into a secret program to stop a planet from colliding with the Earth; he battles an evil villain named Nazu, who is a four-eyed cloth bear with a robot claw hand and no nose or mouth; even odder, the "hero" wears a very scary skull mask with an all red costume!) starring Sonny Chiba (as a scientist, not as the hero or the villain!), Hirohisa Nakata (in the title role as "The Golden Bat", a VERY popular character in Japan, so much so that many kids grew up with lots of character toys of Golden Bat!), Andrew Hughes, Chako van Leeuwen, and Wataru Yamagawa NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Renato Casaro Important Added Info: It seems that when this movie was released in Italy they wanted to make people think it was an American movie, so they created false names for the stars! The real stars were Hirohisa Nakata, Sonny Chiba, and Wataru Yamagawa, but there are fake names on the poster instead (including Thomas Lee, Peter Conway, and Deborah Scott). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this Italian two-panel was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: fair.
