An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More)

Little Iodine, the 1946 Reginald Le Borg juvenile comedy ("It's me - I'm in the movies now!"; "From the comic pages to the screen ...that laughable troubleful..."; "Based on the Famous King Feature Comic Strip 'Little Iodine'" by Jimmy Hatlo) starring Jo Ann Marlowe (in the title role "as 'Little Iodine'"), Hobart Cavanaugh, Marc Cramer, Eve Whitney, Lanney Rees, and Irene Ryan. Note that cartoonist Jimmy Hatlo created a comic strip called "They'll Do It Every Time" in 1929 (showing frustrating everyday occurrences). In 1943, he created a spin-off strip called "Little Iodine", which focused on a bratty daughter of a couple who is constantly causing them (and everyone around them) problems. In 1946, this feature film version was made, but the character was softened for the film, and she tries to right the many wrongs she has caused. Also note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
