South Pole Explorer B-17, the 1950s Japanese wind-up tin toy of a polar explorer equipped with skis, camera and oxygen tanks. Note that there are modern Chinese reproductions of this toy, but the one offered here is an original manufactured in Japan.

Condition: very good. The toy has some signs of general wear, but it is otherwise in pretty nice condition (and still operates)! The box has some wear and tape-repaired splits in some of the edges of the upper box. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
