The Monster, the 1925 Roland West silent detective sanitarium horror thriller comedy (based on a play by Crane Wilbur; about a mad scientist who takes over an insane asylum and starts causing passersby to have accidents so that he can transfer their "souls" into inmates' bodies, and two young guys and a girl get lured into his clutches!) starring Lon Chaney Sr. ("The Man Of A Thousand Faces"!), Johnny Arthur, Gertrude Olmstead, Hallam Cooley, Charles Sellon, and Frank Austin

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards (one of which sold for $1,600) and three different stills (all of which had different images than this one), and NO other movie paper, until we received this fourth still!

Condition: good to very good. There are many tiny white dots scattered around the center of the image and a few in the outer background areas, but they are within the printing and are not any sort of defect. There is paper loss in two corners, with a few tiny creases around the edges, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. There are a few tiny creases in the top blank border.
