(Learn More) Star Trek, the 1966 - 1969 Gene Roddenberry action science fiction (sci-fi) outerspace adventure television (TV) series starring William Shatner (as Captain James T. Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (as Spock), DeForest Kelley (as Dr. Bones McCoy), James Doohan (as Scotty), George Takei (as Sulu), Nichelle Nichols (as Uhura), Walter Koenig (as Chekov), Majel Barrett (as Nurse Chapel), and Grace Lee Whitney (as Yeoman Rand). Note that this show aired for three seasons, and was pretty popular the first two seasons, but the third season it was moved to Friday night (a poor night for the viewers this show was aiming at) and it was canceled. That seemed to be it, but it grew ever more popular in syndication, and in 1979, a decade after the show was canceled, a feature movie version was created, which led to many sequels (starring the original cast), and also several different TV series, with different casts. It is surely one of the most successful franchises of all time! Included with the signed cards are two color REPRODUCTION photos. All these items could be matted and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor ran autograph shows for many years and was an executive director of UACC for many years. Since he met so many celebrities, he set about trying to acquire autographs from all of the top cast members from this series, and also some famous movies. He has now consigned to us the autographs that he acquired, and given that he ran autograph shows for many years, we feel certain the signatures are authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
