December 7th, 1941 is the day that the Naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was attacked by Japan, bringing the United States into World War II, and this poster was designed to encourage people to enlist in the military. Artist: Allen Saalburg Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has become somewhat brittle with age and there is paper loss in the upper left corner, separation at the bottom crossfold, and a few small tears and areas of tattering around the edges of the poster (the crossfold separation and a single small tear in the right of the bottom edge have been repaired with conservation tape from the back). There are tape stains in the corners of the poster and there is a very light stain in the lower left edge. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
