The 54th Annual Academy Awards (also known as the Oscars), the 1982 Marty Pasetta awards ceremony which was held on March 29th at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. The show was hosted by Johnny Carson, and this was the year Chariots of Fire won the Oscar for Best Picture!
