Blackjack Ketchum, Desperado, the 1956 Earl Bellamy cowboy western ("The best killers money could buy... Couldn't outgun notorious Blackjack Ketchum!"; "One gunshot from now... Someone'll make the wrong move... In the game Blackjack Ketchum plays best!"; "All in black... The most daring gunslinger of all..."; "Before sundown, many a killer's widow would be wearing black, too!"; "Jesse James...The Daltons...and NOW 'Blackjack Ketchum, Desperado'"; "The story of the day he rode into outlaw-ruled Oxhorn... on the side of the law!"; "Based on a Novel by LOUIS L'AMOUR") starring Howard Duff (in the title role as Tom 'Blackjack' Ketchum), Victor Jory, Maggie Mahoney, William Tannen, and Angela Stevens. Note that Tom 'Black Jack' Ketchum was a real-life cowboy who turned to crime. After he was convicted of an attempted train robbery, Ketchum was sentenced to hang. Due to inexperience at the hands of his executioners, he was decapitated at the execution, and pictures of his mutilated body were sold as postcards!
