Not an animal..."; about a boy raised wild in the French woods, and the scientist who tries to "civilize" him; similar to the basic premise of Tarzan but based on a true story from the 1700s) starring Jean-Pierre Cargol (in the title role as the "wild child"), Francois Truffaut, Francoise Seigner, Jean Daste, and Annie Miller NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned this Italian poster once before, and now that poster has been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned, and we have also never auctioned any other photobusta, or any Italian poster from this movie! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The photobusta was never folded. It had a few faint creases, scuffs, and tiny paper loss in the center of the top border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
