An Undated (probably 1919) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Sins of the Mothers, the 1914 Ralph Ince silent family relationship mother/daughter gambling addiction melodrama (a wild story of a woman whose husband commits suicide because of her gambling debts, and she sends their daughter to a convent, but when the daughter grows up, the mother convinces her to come out of the convent and "experience life", but her daughter becomes a gambling addict as well, and the mother makes a major sacrifice so that her daughter can have a good life) starring Anita Stewart, Julia Swayne Gordon, Ralph Ince, Earle Williams, and Lucille Lee Stewart. Note that this movie was basically remade in 1933 as "The House on 56th Street" with Kay Francis in the lead role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when this movie was first released in 1914, there were no regular lobby cards, so the lobby cards for this 1919 re-release are almost certainly the first lobby cards for this movie!
